Social activist and former Mormugao assembly candidate Parshuram Sonurlekar on Wednesday resigned from the Aam Aadmi Party. In a press release, Sonurlekar said his decision to resign from the primary membership of the AAP was taken after careful consideration and reflection. "I have come to the conclusion that it is in my best interest to step down from my position within the party. While it was a difficult decision to make, I believe it is the right choice for my personal and professional growth,” stated Sonurlekar. “I want to express my sincere gratitude to the leadership of AAP for their guidance and support throughout my time with the party. I have learned valuable lessons about politics, public service, and the power of grassroots activism. I will forever cherish the memories and friendships forged during my association with AAP.”
