PANAJI: Former Union Law Minister and former Deputy Chief Minister of Goa, Ramakant Khalap, has strongly condemned the alleged attempt by a lawyer to attack the Chief Justice of India.
Khalap said the office of the Chief Justice has always brought glory to the Indian judicial system, symbolising wisdom and integrity. He stated that the person responsible for the act deserves strict punishment. Calling the incident “dastardly”, Khalap urged the legal fraternity across the country to stand united and collectively denounce the attack.
