M.V. LRAJ GREEN, the State’s first privately conceptualized, designed, and built solar-electric hybrid catamaran, has been successfully launched and inaugurated by the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. The project began under Goa Solar Power House and later evolved into a full-fledged company —LRAJ Green Solutions Private Limited — to bring the vision to life through research, local expertise, and a practical understanding of marine operations. The vessel’s tailored route along the Mandovi River showcases a harmonious blend of heritage and ecology. Guests cruise past historical landmarks, and through sensitive zones like Chorao and Divar islands, home to rich biodiversity and protected wildlife sanctuaries. Due to its silent electric propulsion, M.V. LRAJ GREEN glides quietly, without disturbing the natural habitat. More than just a scenic ride, each cruise is an immersive cultural journey, celebrating local talent, music, cuisine, and eco-conscious entertainment. Goan musicians, performers, and storytellers are central to the onboard experience, making each journey a living tribute to Goa’s heritage and environment. M.V. LRAJ GREEN offers both daytime sightseeing and nighttime entertainment cruises, including dine-and-dance experiences. With an air-conditioned lounge for comfort and an open-air deck for dance, music, and snacks, the vessel ensures an enjoyable cruise in all weather conditions.
