The St Michael Parish Women’s Cell, Taleigao successfully organized “She Creates: A Showcase for Women Entrepreneurs & Creators” on May 16 and 17 with the aim of supporting and encouraging local women entrepreneurs by providing them a platform to promote and sell their products. A total of 12 stalls were set up, displaying a wide variety of unique and creative products. Visitors had the opportunity to explore and purchase beautifully handcrafted crochet items, delicious homemade savouries, baked items, fresh flowers, plants, creative craftwork, fresh vegetables, and several other locally made products. The event received an encouraging response from parishioners and visitors, who appreciated the talent, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit of the women participants. The showcase was attended by Parish Priest Fr Caetano Fernandes, Assistant Parish Priest Fr Soccoro Rebelo, and Sarpanch Maria Fernandes, who appreciated the initiative and encouraged the women entrepreneurs in their efforts.
