PANAJI: In a touching gesture to mark the birthday of her husband, Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai, Reetha Sreedharan paid a special visit to Street Providence Women Shelter Home at Guirim. As a symbol of the occasion, she presented the residents with a delicious cake, symbolizing the sweetness of the moment, and a selection of fresh fruits, promoting healthy and nourishing choices.
Accompanied by Trustees, staff, and volunteers of the NGO, Sreedharan toured the facility, starting with the physiotherapy center where she engaged with residents and learned about the valuable services provided to empower women on their journey to recovery and self-sufficiency.
During her visit, she had the opportunity to interact with the women residents, fostering a sense of camaraderie and understanding. The residents presented her with a framed artwork created during one of the art classes, showcasing their creativity and talents.
