
PRCI Goa chairman Deepak Narvekar presents a memento to a caregiver at Shanti Avedna Sadan, Loutolim.

The Goa Chapter of the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) observed Good Samaritan Day at Shanti Avedna Sadan, Loutolim, recognising caregivers who provide palliative care to patients, many of whom cannot afford paid services.
Speaking at the event, PRCI Goa Chapter Chairman Deepak Narvekar said the caregivers “truly embody the spirit of the Good Samaritan through their selfless service”. He also commended the cleanliness and serene environment at the institution, and praised the management for treating staff and patients with dignity. He further appreciated Jones Samuel for coordinating the programme.
Shanti Avedna Sadan Administrator Sr Valsa thanked the PRCI Goa Chapter for acknowledging the efforts of the caregivers. Those present included Dr Mavis Faleiro; PRCI Goa Chapter Secretary Nikhil Wagh; Vrundawan Raikar, member of the Goa Chapter of PRCI; and Jones Samuel, Assistant Treasurer of the PRCI Goa Chapter.
