Shri Shantadurga Kala, Sanskrutik ani Samajik Sangh, Pilerne organised a cultural musical programme ‘Bhaktirang – Abhang & Natya Sangeet’ at the Shree Maharudra Amrekarnath Devasthan, Savlem–Pilerne on the eve of Gudi Padwa which draw an enthusiastic response from music lovers and devotees. The programme featured a performance by renowned young classical vocalist Rajyog Dhuri, who enthralled the audience with a presentation of ‘Abhang’ and ‘Natya Sangeet’, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere. The chief guest Saligao MLA and GTDC Chairman Kedar Naik lit the tradional lamp in the presence of North Goa ZP Adhyaksha Reshma Bandodkar, Pilerne-Marra Dy Sarpanch Amarnath Govekar, Pilerne Panchayat members Santosh Bandodkar, Ashiwini Chodankar, Ankita Naik, Akshay Govekar, Pilerne VDC Convenor Karan Govenkar, Nerul Sarpanch Rajesh Kalangutkar and others. In his address, Saligao MLA Kedar Naik said such cultural programmes should be organised on regular basis to promote cultural and musical heritage of Goa.
