Cuncolim police has registered against an unknown woman for trespassing into a house at Cumbiabhat-Velip and decamping with household goods worth Rs 22,600.
In his complaint, Joe Mascarenhas, a resident of Cumbiabhat-Velim stated that on March 20 between 12:00 hrs to 16:40 hrs, the unknown lady accused criminally trespassed into his house property from the backside and entered the shed/kitchen area and committed theft of household articles i.e., four bullet silencers valued at Rs. 16,000, a big copper pot valued at Rs. 3,500, a cloth iron machine valued at Rs. 1,000, one steel utensil rack valued at Rs. 1,000, as steel tumbler valued at Rs 500, besides five steel plates valued at Rs 600, causing total loss of property worth Rs 22,600.
He further stated in his complaint that the unknown lady accused kept the stolen articles near a tamarind tree situated opposite his house and at about 16:26 hrs returned along with one rickshaw driven by an unknown accused male person and with their common intention, both of them loaded the stolen articles into the rickshaw and fled away from the spot.
Police have registered a case under section 305(a), 329(4) r/w 3(5) of BNS.
