Shiva Science Meditation Ashram at Dhamshe, Valpoi, will conduct a 15-day ‘Chakra Meditation’ programme from April 1 to April 15, aimed at promoting holistic well-being and spiritual awareness. The programme will be held in three levels of five days each, with two sessions daily from 10 am to 6 pm, organisers said. The course will introduce participants to the concept of the seven chakras, or energy centres in the human body, and their role in physical, emotional and mental health. Sessions will be led by the ashram head, Brahmachaitanya Param Pujya Bhaiyyaji Maharaj. Ashram coordinator Dr Namrata Redkar said the initiative seeks to reconnect people with India’s spiritual traditions. “Through spiritual practices developed by sages over centuries, individuals can work towards overcoming negative karmic influences and lead a more fulfilled life,” she said. Participants will also be guided on Kundalini Shakti, described as a dormant spiritual energy, and the network of nadis, or energy channels, within the body. The sessions will further explore the concept of ‘pancha mahabhutas’ (five elements) and their link to health and well-being.
