Dr Mridini M Gawas, Assistant Professor in Mathematics at the School of Physical and Applied Sciences, Goa University has been conferred the prestigious “Rising Researcher Award” by the Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Gwalior.The award was conferred at the IEEE International Conference on Interdisciplinary Approaches in Technology and Management for Social Innovation (IATMSI-2026) Conference on March 14. The award recognizes her significant research contributions in the field of Mathematical Modeling and Differential Equations. Her work primarily involves the use of differential equations and computational techniques to address interdisciplinary problems across emerging areas such as data science, artificial intelligence, and health-related modeling. As part of this honour, Dr Gawas received a cash prize, trophy, and citation, acknowledging her research achievements and scholarly contributions to the field of mathematics.
