Incidents of dog bites were reported at the SAG grounds, Fatorda on Wednesday with the victims lining up at the South Goa District Hospital, Margao to seek advice and treatment. The victims included two minor children and an adult person, who received dog bites on their hands from a domestic dog. One of the victims told The Goan that the dog was playing around in the presence of the owner when it bit them. “The dog was not aggressive or ferocious, but I received the dog bite when it was playing around. Another person received scratches on their hands. We have just come to the district hospital to seek advice on whether to take the anti-rabies vaccine or not,” he informed. Doctors at the district hospital casualty advised the victims to take the vaccines and to complete the course.
