MARGAO: Carmona Sports Club got the better of Raia Sporting Club 3-1 and moved to the quarter-finals of 15th Davorlim Cup organised by Sporting Club Davorlim, at Davorlim Panchayat ground, on Monday.
Raia took an early lead in the fifth minute through Garrison Fernandes' neat placement while Carmona SC got the equaliser in the dying minutes of first half through the boots of Christern Estibeiro.
Changing over, Raia lost the control over the game and Carmona scored two more goals through Stanford Fernandes and Edvic Afonso in 47th and 52nd minutes respectively.
Edvic Afonso of Carmona SC was awarded the man of the match by Roy Raikar.
