CANACONA

Around 150 people attended a free Durga Seva Arogya Camp organised by the Durga Seva Trust in Canacona on Tuesday.  The camp offered multiple health services including general physician consultation, dental check-up, breast screening, and gynaecology services to the women. The camp was organised by Durga Seva Trust under the presidentship of Vaishnav Pednekar, as part of his birthday celebrations.  The initiative was supported by the Pednekar family and Pritam Pagui, who contributed actively to its smooth execution.

The Trust also expresses heartfelt gratitude to the team of dedicated doctors — Dr M M Nadkarni, Dr Deepali Gaonkar, Dr Prachi Nadkarni, and Dr Vishal Devidas — for their time and service to the people of Canacona. Santosh Vernekar was also praised for providing the premises for the camp. The camp was conducted as part of a CSR initiative of Colorcon Asia Pvt. Ltd., implemented by the Voluntary Health Association of Goa under Project Arogya Express, which aims to bring healthcare to the doorsteps of Goans.
