MARGAO: Veteran freedom fighter Libia Lobo Sardesai unveiled the logo of Madganvcho Awaaz, coinciding with the 98th birth anniversary of former Margao MLA and former minister Anant alias Babu Naik. It was a historic moment linking generations, as Libia Lobo Sardesai, remembered as the Voice of Liberation of Goa, unveiled the logo of youth leader Prabhav Naik’s initiative, Madganvcho Awaaz. The movement, founded by the grandson of Babu Naik, carries the tagline “Voice of Margao Speaks Its Mind.”
The 101-year-old freedom fighter blessed Prabhav Naik on the occasion and advised him to bond closely with people, remain accountable, and create a legacy that will define how he is remembered. She reminded him that true service lies in working selflessly for the welfare of society. Expressing his gratitude, Prabhav Naik said that the blessings of Libia Lobo Sardesai will always inspire him to walk the path of truth, courage, and service to society.
