Burglars broke into the locked house of Mervin D'Silva at Aradi-Parra and stole items worth around Rs 2 lakh.The burglary is believed to have taken place sometime between October and November 2025, when burglars broke open lock on the back door of the house and stole items worth Rs 2 lakh from the house, including copper utensils, electric cables, earthing wires, fans, gas cylinders, gas stoves, aluminium ladders, and plumbing fixtures.
On February 13, the Mapusa police registered a case of burglary following a complaint by the house owners. Mapusa police are conducting further investigations into the case.
