MAPUSA: The annual feast of the Holy Cross Chapel, located at Capela De Santa Cruz De Angod (Swiss Chapel), will be celebrated on February 15 with a solemn feast Mass at 8.45 am. The Eucharistic celebration will be led by Fr Norbert D’Silva, spiritual director of Seminary Niwas, Duler, Mapusa, as the main celebrant. Ahead of the feast, a nine-day novena began on February 6, drawing the faithful for spiritual preparation.
As part of the celebrations, a musical programme by Babin & Allison has been organised for the evening of February 15, commencing at 7 pm. The programme is sponsored by the Mapusa Carnival Committee. The Swiss Chapel, which is attached to the Mapusa parish, has long been a significant place of worship for the local community. The chapel committee members have invited devotees to participate in the festivities.
