The Goa Staff Selection Commission (GSSC) has announced recruitment for 722 Group ‘C’ posts across government departments.
The largest share of vacancies is in the police force. These include 360 posts of Police Constable (male/female), 119 posts of Armed Police Constable, and 111 posts of Police Constable Driver (Grade-III).
Other major openings are 60 posts of Warden (male), 23 posts of Round Forester, 13 posts of Range Forest Officer, and 9 posts of Forest Guard.
Additional positions include Platoon Commander (4), Assistant Superintendent (male 4), Matron (female 10), Lascar (male 5), Escort (female 2), and one post each for Constable (Greaser) and Constable (Electrician).
Applications will be accepted only online through the official portal gssc.goa.gov.in. The portal opens on February 20 and the deadline is March 13. No offline applications will be entertained, the Commission said.
The recruitment drive is expected to strengthen staffing in police and Forest Departments. GSSC has urged candidates to carefully read eligibility criteria and submit applications within the stipulated time.
