MARGAO: Young boys from Navelim will organise ‘Gala Carnival 2026’ on Carnival Sunday, February 15, from 7 pm onwards. The venue is behind Zudio Mall on NH 66 along the Margao–Navelim service road, after the carnival floats pass through the town.
The Seven Notes will perform along with Shine On and Imperial. Music will also be backed by DJ Queency and DJ Polly. The programme will be hosted by Staphine. King Momo is expected to make a personal visit with his entourage.
An individual fancy dress competition with prizes will be held. Food stalls, a cocktail bar, fireworks and ample parking have been arranged. Organisers have appealed to people to attend dressed in their best carnival attire and celebrate the carnival spirit.
