MARGAO: Margao will host a grand carnival parade from the traditional Holy Spirit Church square to the Margao Municipal square on Sunday, February 15. Speaking to the media along with Margao Carnival Committee chairperson Milagrina Gomes, municipal chairperson Damu Shirodkar said the civic body is making all arrangements for the parade. Inviting people from Margao and Salcete, Shirodkar said the Margao Municipal Council and the Margao Carnival Committee are working to ensure smooth carnival celebrations in the commercial capital.
