PANAJI: Rockfest Mayhem V2 will take place on Sunday, November 9, at Bay 15, Dona Paula, Panaji, from 5 pm onwards. The previous editions of Rockfest Mayhem held in South Goa were a huge hit, drawing large crowds of rock music fans. This year’s event will be headlined by Girish and The Chronicles (GATC), one of India’s top rock bands from Sikkim and known for their appearance on Asia’s Got Talent.
In 2023, GATC performed alongside international bands such as Bullet for My Valentine, Billy Talent, and Alter Bridge at the Summerside Festival in Grenchen, Switzerland. The band also supported Guns N’ Roses as special guests at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on 1 July 2023. Their debut album, Back on Earth, was released in 2014. Goa’s own Bad Blood will open the evening, followed by Roar Engine, India’s youngest rock band. The lineup also includes El-rei from Dubai and Edwin Fernandes from Delhi. The event is organised by El Camino Events Goa, and tickets are available on Swiggy.
