The Department of Information and Publicity celebrated its annual Shree Satyanarayan Mahapooja in the office premises on Saturday. The pooja ceremony was performed by the artist of DIP, Sarvesh D Phadke and his spouse, Sadhana Sarvesh Phadke. Aravind Nair, Chief Information Commissioner, Gaurish Kalangutkar, OSD to Chief Minister, journalists, heads of departments, government employees and media persons attended. The highlight of the celebration was the presentation of bhajan by some of the officials of the department. The staff members also participated in 'aarti'. Director of DIP Dipak M. Bandekar and other officers welcomed the devotees during their visit to the department.
