Alria Rose’s stage presence and her singing ability carries stamp of class that her father Alfred Rose had
A special Konkani musical bonanza was organised by F.C.Global Music and V Events at Kala Academy Panjim in April this year to paytribute to Goa’s Melody King late Alfred Rose. Selected singers of the Konkanistage including Rita Rose, her daughter Alria Rose, Alria’s husband PravinD’Souza and Alfred’s grandson Ethan D’souza entertained the audience.
Alria Dolly Rose with her enchanting voice and confidence stole the hearts of thosepresent. Her stage presence is tremendous and her singing ability carries thatstamp of class that very few Konkani stage professional singers can boast of.Being Alfred Rose’s daughter not only gives her additional mileage, but alsocomes with high expectations of people drawing a comparison with her father’sstyle of singing and showmanship.
Alria however has not let her fans and friends down and she hasproved that singing comes to her as naturally as breathing and that she has herfather’s genes in a good measure. Blessed with a sensational voice and beingthe progeny of Alfred and Rita Rose, she has taken to Konkani music like fishto water. If she continues the same, Alria can take Konkani music to newheights and keep her father’s legacy alive for future generations.
As a mother of two young kids, family obligation, responsibilities and otherengagements limit her presence on the Konkani stage in Goa. Besides in Mumbai,she is also part of a beat group ‘Crimson Rage’ as a crooner and when timepermits jams up with her husband’s trio too. But she has her heart with Konkanimusic though and is all game to make brief appearances on Konkani stage in Goato keep her father’s memory alive.
