PANAJI: The Curti Sports Complex in Ponda will be named after former local MLA & Minister late Ravi Naik, the government announced today.
The naming honours former minister Ravi Naik and recognises his contribution to public service and the development of the Ponda region.
According to the Chief Minister’s Office, the move acknowledges Naik’s people-focused leadership and the long-term impact of his work in strengthening infrastructure and regional growth.
The sports complex is expected to serve as a key hub for young athletes, providing quality infrastructure, promoting grassroots participation, and supporting talent development in and around Ponda.
