MAPUSA:
Cunchelim comunidade Attorney Michael Carrasco has reiterated his commitment to clearing illegal structures on comunidade land and pushing for the long-pending Ravindra Bhavan project.
Speaking on his priorities, Carrasco emphasized the need for strict action against unauthorized constructions.
“I had initiated the demand to take action against illegal constructions on comunidade land, and I will continue to do so. Besides clearing all illegal structures, the Ravindra Bhavan project must also come up in Cunchelim,” he said.
He further stated that while the comunidade had already approved the Ravindra Bhavan project, the government needed to complete the land acquisition process.
“If the government is delaying, we can’t help it. We had given the green signal two years ago. We are ready to cooperate at any level to ensure the project becomes a reality,” Carrasco added.
