IMA CME, workshop for trainers on kids' neurodiversity today

IMA Goa State is organising a state-level CME and workshop for training of trainers on neurodiversity in children on March 15 in SGDH Auditorium, Margao from 9am to 2pm.

Aligning with the IMA theme 2026, “Embracing Neurodiversity- together we care, connect and champion” this workshop is designed to create awareness amongst primary stakeholders including doctors, teachers, counsellors and parents about the spectrum of neurodiversity along with its early identification and remedial measures.

Taha Haafiz, Secretary , Office of the state commision for persons with disabilities, Government of Goa has been invited as the Cief guest for the event. 

Dr Rajendra Borkar, Medical Superintendent, SGDH has been invited as the guest of honour.

Eminent neurodevelopmental pediatricians from across the state, Dr Aparna Wadkar, Dr Vibha Parsekar, Dr Elyska De Sa and Dr Sushila Kamat will educate the delegates on various aspects of neurodiversity. Over 170 delegates are expected to attend the event.
