CANACONA
The 11-KV Palolem Feeder providing the electricity supply to Palolem will remain switched-off for the whole of Wednesday for the work of reconditioning power transformer at the 33/11KV Canacona Sub-Station line maintenance and to carry pre-monsoon activities.
According to a press note issued by Canacona Assistant Engineer (Electricity) the power shutdown is arranged at the 11 KV Palolem Feeder on May 21 between 9 am to 5 pm.
The areas affected will be Municipality Office, Telephone Exchange, Cleopatra, Gaitondewada, Dhavalikar Hospital, Devabhag, Ice-Factory, Palolem Beach, Rickshaw Stand, Bhumipurush, Ourem, Sawantwada, Colomb, Devgipurush, Patnem, Patnem Beach, Qupemwada, Mharangan, Ponsulem, Kindlem, Rajbag-Tarir, Navodaya, Mastimol (ITI side) and Delem.
Public in these areas are requested to cooperate and bear with the electricity department so as to complete the works.
