BJP’s North Goa candidate Shripad Naik on Monday claimed that he was able to get more than 1,200 projects for Goa, of which around 1,100 have been completed during the last 10 years of the double engine sarkar.

“The people of North Goa have given me a chance to serve them for five consecutive terms. Of these terms, I was part of the ruling camp. In the last 10 years, more than 1,200 projects have been sanctioned and more than 1,100 of them have been completed. Work on the remaining 100 projects is underway and will be completed in the next six-seven months,” he said during the release of a work detailing his works as MP from 2014-2024.

He further claimed, “The proposal for the Mopa airport had started when I was the civil aviation minister in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee-led government. The work stalled during the Congress government resumed in 2014.”

“During my tenure as AYUSH minister in the Modi government, funds were made available for setting up 102 hospitals across the country,” he said adding about AYUSH projects in Goa as well as expanding the wellness centres along with doctors across several health centres.
