BJP eyes substantial lead for S Goa candidate in Curtorim

State BJP president Sadanand Tanavade on Friday exuded confidence that the party workers from Curtorim will ensure a substantial lead for party candidate Pallavi Dempo in the May 7 election.

Tanavade visited Curtorim on Friday and had an interaction with party leaders, including Dr Sneha Bhagwat, ST leader Anthony Barbosa and members of the BJP Curtorim Mandal.

Saying the BJP has made significant momentum in Curtorim constituency in recent times, Tanavade said, “Our karyakartas will ensure a substantial lead 

for the party in the constituency.”

Meanwhile, Tanavade had a meeting with party leaders from South Goa at the district BJP office on Friday morning. He later told the media that the BJP will win both the North and South Goa seats by a comfortable margin.
