Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Friday attended the cleanliness drive organised by Sanquelim Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) the youth wing of BJP to celebrate the 'Samajik Nyay Saptah' (Social Justice Week) at Amona Junction in Sanquelim Constituency.
BJYM Sankhali led by its President, Ganesh Ghadi undertook the work of cutting bushes, cleaning and collecting all the garbage accumulated around the Amona Junction area and its vicinity to mark the occasion.
ZP member and Mandal President Gopal Surlakar, Sarpanch VP Naveli and Gen. Secretary Kalidas Gauns, Sarpanch of VP Amona Krishna Gawas, Ex-Sarpanch of VP Harvalem and Gen. Secretary of Mandal Sanjay Naik were present and took part in the cleanliness drive with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Ganesh Ghadi, Sanquelim BJYM President welcomed the gathering while Krishna Gawas proposed the vote of thanks.
