Says BJP will win 30 seats in Assembly polls

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said the BJP’s decisive performance in the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) elections reflects the strong trust people have in the party.
Reacting to the results, Sawant described the outcome as only a “trailer” of what lies ahead and expressed confidence that the BJP will achieve a bigger victory in the upcoming 2027 Assembly elections. “The CCP results show the faith people have in the BJP. This is only a trailer. In the 2027 Assembly elections, the BJP will win 30 seats,” Sawant said.
The Chief Minister said the civic poll outcome demonstrates public support for the government’s development agenda and the party’s commitment to good governance.
“I’m grateful to the people of Panaji for giving a resounding mandate to the BJP-led panel. This reflects your trust in our vision for a progressive, clean and well-governed city, and strengthens our resolve to serve every citizen with dedication,” said Sawant.
