The New Educational Institute, Curchorem bagged double crown in the U-14 inter-school Quepem taluka chess tournament organized by Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs at Borimol Sports Complex, Quepem. New Educational Institute emerged champs in both girls and boys section.

the goan I networkrMARGAOrSarvodaya Education Society’s School of Curchorem and C T Naik High School bagged second and third place respectively in the boys section while Sarvodaya Education Society’s School and Guardian Angel High School of Curchorem bagged second and third place respectively in the girls section. rThe tournament was conducted by Taluka Sports Organizer Motilal Naik Gaonkar who ensured that the event was a success and the participants played in good spirit.
