Panaji has a new riverside attraction with the opening of The Riverfront, billed as the State capital’s largest outdoor venue. Developed by Bengaluru-based MRG Group, the venue is located along a 700-foot stretch of the Mandovi River near the erstwhile Mandovi Hotel.
Designed to host weddings, social celebrations, corporate events, pop-ups, exhibitions and cultural programmes, The Riverfront features modern infrastructure, dedicated service areas, a private river jetty, parking for 55 vehicles, and a total capacity of up to 1,000 guests. Its restrained architectural approach allows events to define the space while blending with Panaji’s cultural and architectural character.
