Sarpanch of Paroda panchayat Inacio Tereza was on Thursday voted out of office in a no-confidence motion by 5-1.
Six members had tabled the no confidence motion on the ground that the Sarpanch does not take the members into confidence for planning the development works. The signatories had further alleged that the Sarpanch does not execute the resolutions passed by the panchayat body.
The signatories include Deepak Kharangate, Silvester Dias, Alenceya Carvalho, Rupali Gaonkar, John Fernandes and Sarita Fernandes.
