Soursop saplings were planted in the premises of Camurlim Panchayat as part of Curtorim BJP Mandal’s Sewa Pakhwada, a 15-day service activity programme to mark the 72nd birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In his address, Camurlim Sarpanch Basilio Fernandes said that he will take care of the plants.
“As this newly planted sapling grows, may the BJP party in Goa also grow,” he added.
The program was attended by Curtorim BJP Leader Anthony Barbosa, BJP State Mahila Morcha Vice President Dr Sneha Bhagwat, Mandal President Nilkanth Ekawade, Mandal Vice President Mehboob Makandar and many locals.
