The Goa Medical Council has published and released the list of Goa’s registered medical practitioners having on the roster some 3,840 doctors.
Of these, as many as 232 new doctors were registered in the 10 months between January and October this year. The list has been published and displayed on the board outside the Council’s office and prints are also available. There is also a list of medical practitioners who are removed from the register.
Doctors are required to renew their registration with the Council once every five years and need to acquire 30 credits of Continuous Medical Education (CME). Their registration is also liable to be cancelled by the Council if they fail to obtain the 30 CME credits in the five years.
