Goa Forward chief Vijai Sardesai on Friday labelled Revolutionary Goans Party chief Manoj Parab a “prank”, saying it is better not to speak about such a person on the issue of alliance.
“Manoj Parab is a prank. He played a prank on the people of Goa. I don’t want to comment on such a person. We should not take such people seriously,” he said.
When the media questioned what went wrong with the proposal to include the RGP in the Opposition alliance and whether the induction of defector Isidore Fernandes into the GFP was a trigger, Sardesai shot back: “How can we go forward with an alliance proposal with a prank? It is like a wife telling her husband after marriage that it was a prank. Will anyone take you seriously?”
