PANAJI: Pilerne’s vibrant Thursday Heritage Market is all set to turn golden this May 8, as it hosts Ambeachem Fest 3.0, a lively tribute to Goa’s most beloved summer fruit – the mango.

The celebration promises an evening brimming with flavour, fun, and festivity for the entire family. Entry is free and the festivity will begin at 5 PM. The event will feature mangoes, with fresh local varieties available for sale and special mango dishes prepared just for the occasion.

There will be an opportunity to take home unique mango grafts by master horticulturist Nestor Rangel, who will also deliver a talk on mango varieties, grafting techniques, and mango secrets.

Children under 10 can express their fruity creativity in a Kids’ Mango Painting Corner, while the curious and competitive can test their knowledge in the Mango Quiz, filled with fun facts and fruity prizes. People can also try their luck at Guess the Weight of the Mango Basket.

For those craving something cool and refreshing, Maria Fernandes will present a Mixology Workshop and demonstrate how to craft irresistible mango-based drinks.

The evening will sway to the rhythms of Cheeky Doughnuts, setting the stage for a spirited night of live music, game stalls, and spot prizes that will keep the energy flowing from start to finish.

There will be a colourful spread of local Goan food, traditional bakery treats, homemade desserts, zesty pickles, refreshing drinks, and stalls showcasing jewellery, art, and handmade crafts by talented local artisans.

“Whether you’re a mango lover, foodie, art enthusiast, or just looking for a fun evening out, Ambeachem Fest 3.0 is the place to be. Come celebrate Goa’s golden treasure in true village spirit – Amchi Mati, Amcho Utsav,” said Pilerne Parish Priest Fr Derick Fernandes.
