CANACONA
A male body was found floating in the Talpona river at Sadolxem on Monday.
According to Canacona police, the fire and emergency services personnel were already present at the site and fished out the body from the river.
The body was shifted to the Community Health Centre, Canacona, and later referred to the South Goa District Hospital, Margao, for identification and to conduct further medico-legal formalities.
Canacona police registered the unnatural death under Section 194 of the BNSS and further enquiry is being conducted by PSI Vishal Velip of Canacona Police Station.
