As investigation into the recent seizure of drugs worth Rs 17 lakh progresses, the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) has made a third arrest in the case. Nilesh Dhuri, 26, a resident of New Vaddem, was arrested on Wednesday and remanded to 14 days of judicial custody.
The arrest follows a raid earlier this week, during which two locals, Raviraj Rivonkar, 26, from Verna and Lingu Donur, 35, from Margao were arrested from New Patto bus stand in Panaji.
A search led to the recovery of 170 grams of hydroponic weed, estimated to be worth Rs 17 lakh. A Skoda car used by the accused was also seized as part of the raid.
