A 34-year-old man, Kamlesh Kumar, originally from Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, tragically passed away while undergoing treatment at the Goa Medical College (GMC) hospital at Bambolim, following an accidental fall from a terrace.
According to police, the incident occurred around 8.30 pm on April 29. Kumar, who was residing in Canca, reportedly slipped and fell from the ground floor terrace of his residence while speaking on his mobile phone.
He was immediately rushed to the GMC hospital for medical attention but succumbed to injuries during treatment.
Authorities have registered the case as an accidental fall and are continuing with further inquiries.
Police have ruled out any foul play at this stage.
