OLD GOA: The Rotary Club Ponda, in association with Uday Education Society–Neura, PTA of Azmane High School, and Ex-Students Association of Azmane HS, organised a free eye check-up camp by ophthalmologist Dr Rajesh Bhat at Azmane High School, Neura, on Sunday for residents of Neura, Azossim, and Mandur.
Around 60 needy patients benefitted from the free eye check-up camp, and Rotary Club will provide free spectacles for the chosen ones.
The camp was inaugurated with the lighting of the traditional lamp by Mandur Sarpanch Prashant Naik, Dr Rajesh Bhat, Rotary Club of Ponda President Suchitra Bhat, Azmane HS Chairman Ramrao Wagh, Uday Education Society President Premanand Naik, Azmane High School Manager Digamber Kankonkar, Headmistress of Azmane High School Roshan Gaonkar, PTA Chairperson Riya Kavlekar, and Ex-Students Association of Azmane HS President Dilip Borkar.
