PANAJI: Air travel to and from Goa has taken a hit due to persistent rainfall and adverse weather conditions across the state. IndiGo Airlines has issued a travel advisory, warning passengers of potential delays and disruptions in flight operations.
In its official communication on 'X', the airline said flight schedules may be affected as heavy rain continues to lash the region. Passengers have been urged to check the latest flight status before heading to the airport and to allow additional time for travel, as poor weather is also impacting local traffic movement.
Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Yellow Alert for Goa today, forecasting light to moderate rainfall accompanied by winds of 30–40 kmph, gusting up to 50 kmph. The conditions are likely to affect parts of both North and South Goa over the next few hours.
