Claiming that the Lok Sabha election is basically to choose the leader of the nation, BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde has said there can’t be a leader better than Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the country and called upon people to elect the BJP in the elections.
He was speaking at Porvorim in the presence of BJP candidate for North Goa Shripad Naik, State BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sadanand Tanavade, Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte and Ashish Sud.
“Article 370 was abrogated but no drop was shed in Jammu and Kashmir which goes to prove the meticulous planning of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. So is the case of Triple Talak,” said Tawde.
Tawde further mentioned that before the introduction of GST in the country there was a leakage of revenue.
“There was substantial increase in revenue after the introduction of GST in the country. Employment opportunities have increased and 22 crore people have moved out of the poverty line.
“During the Covid pandemic, the country has supplied Covid vaccines to 110 countries which was possible only because of the planning and vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This election is basically to choose the leader of the nation and presently, there can’t be a leader better than Narendra Modi in the country. Hence, people should vote and elect the BJP candidate in the Lok Sabha election,” said Tawde.
Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte said in the last 10 years, there has been tremendous development in the country on all fronts.
“In Goa, also we have witnessed a lot of development like the Atal Setu, new Zuari Bridge, Mopa International airport, widening and hot mixing of national highways,” said Khaunte.
“The next 5 years are very crucial for the country. The Indian economy has now become 5th largest economy in the world. To achieve this, people have to vote for BJP and strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” said Khaunte.
Porvorim BJP Mandal President Kishor Asnodkar compered the programme and Damodar Naik later proposed the vote of thanks.
