CM did not stick to pledge on Zuari land scam deal

The Zuari land scam is alleged by Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardessai to be valued at about Rs 50,000 crore. I recall that this mega fraud of the Zuari land sold illegally was even brought up in earlier years in the Assembly sessions and I remember the Goa CM Pramod Sawant then assuring the Opposition in the Goa Assembly, that if the land obtained for miniscule amounts (by Goa's First CM Dayanand Bandodkar with the purpose of industries/employment)  now being misused grabbed by real estate entities for plots illegally at huge inflated prices; then this will not be allowed by the Goa government. So my question to the Goa CM is why was his assurance of making this  Zuari land scam deal void not followed through. It is good Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai is pursuing this matter but it will be meaningless if he does not use this influence and resources, to bring this case to its logical conclusion and have this Zuari land scam scrapped; even if it means taking up a legal case right up to the Supreme Court.
