I strongly condemn the Goa BJP government moving a bill to legalize illegal houses built on encroached lands. I would think this is in total disrespect and contempt of the Supreme Court ruling that no encroachments can be entertained for legalisation. It appears all Goa’s corrupt ministers are interested in is winning the next elections by hook or by crook so as to continue in power as much as possible. How this atrocious bill will destroy Goa and ruin Goans in the medium to long term does not seem to concern these ruling politicians.
