Futility of war in Middle East

Some relief, yes, Iran opening the Strait of Hormuz, but focus on the main issues seems to be lost. After the US-Israel attack on Iran, midway, the goalposts seem to have shifted. Suddenly the whole world’s attention was focused upon opening the Strait of Hormuz which was never closed in the first place before the war began.

Even as the ceasefire is in place, what did we achieve? Destruction of life, schools, hospitals and other infrastructure? And after the destruction, there is talk about rebuilding what man himself destroyed. What an irony. At the end of the day, we need to understand the futility of war. Bury your egos, all you leaders, and that applies to us in our own neighbourhood.
