There is a small strawberry farm at Verlem, Netravali. Our local Goan farmers have shown that strawberries can be grown in Goa. The farm is maintained by local workers. The strawberry plantation is in a hilly area which is passing through forests and its quite far. There are sharp turns and slopes and the road is narrow so you have to take care while driving.  You need a good driver and please do not drink alcohol while driving. At the wild life sanctuary gate there is no fee for those who want to visit the farm but there is a fee for those who are visiting the waterfall which is on the way from where you park your vehicles. Entry fee is Rs 20 per person at the farm. Since it is forest area the climate there is cool. It's opens in the morning at 8:00am and closes in the evening at 6:30pm. There are few houses over there where people are staying there for ages. During any emergency they have to go far to go to doctor and walk long distances to the market and to catch a bus to go to city . Avoid waiting there till late in the evening because it's a lonely and forested area and in case of any emergency there is  no mobile network connectivity. To avoid the rush do not visit on Weekends. You can go there by using the Tilamol,Quepem road which goes to Revona and further there are signboards which will show you directions. Remember that safety always comes first.
