Goa has become a road accident hub for last one year and we have seen youth losing lives in road accidents. On Monday, 21-yr-old Sairaj Morajkar, Karaswada, Mapusa lost his life when his bike dashed concrete wall at Santacruz, Bastora. The bike went off the road and hit concrete wall hence rider received head injuries and succumbed to them. The road accidents and fatal accidents have become a daily story. Most of the cases are due to rash and negligence driving or drink-n-drive without helmet too in two-wheeler cases. Now cars have seat belt and if you don't wear it there is caution with beep sound in the car to remind of not wearing seat belt. Now two-wheeler manufacturers should come out with technology that unless rider doesn't wear helmet the bike it should not start. There should be censor or coding by which rider is made compulsorily to wear helmet by his or her own bike. Many a times RTO stops two-wheeler riders without helmet but some escape by speeding away. It's time to save lives on road with latest technology and careful riding on roads.
