The Directorate of Transport has made 61 forms available free on its website to ensure that citizens don't have to stand in long queues at regional transport offices (RTOs) and to generally improve ease of doing business.Due to this, citizens will be able to download the forms at their convenience rather than going to RTO office to collect the forms, which is time-consuming.
In a circular issued, Transport Director, Nikhil Desai, even said that all these forms will remain available upon payment at various sub-offices till June 30 this year.
These 61 forms are available on the website www.goatransport.gov.in for free download. Desai has even directed his department to make a list of unsold inventory of forms with various sub-offices within 15 days.
