MARGAO
The AFC Futsal Coaching Course Level 1 commenced at the Chowgule Sports Centre in Margao, recently, marking a significant milestone for futsal development in India. This is the first-ever futsal coaching course to have 24 participants from across India, including five representatives from Goa. Notably, the cohort features one player from the Indian Women’s Futsal National Team and two players from the Indian Men’s Futsal National Team.
The course is being conducted by experienced tutor Joshuah Stan Vaz, an AFC Futsal International Instructor, with assistance from Judon Dsouza, an AIFF Futsal Tutor.
Organised by Futebol Club YFA in association with the Goa Football Association (GFA), the course is scheduled to run from March 23 to 28.
The opening ceremony was graced by Schubert Furtado, Chairman of the Futsal Committee, GFA, and Socorro Vaz, Founder of YFA, who extended their support and encouragement to all participants.
